Emergency assistance from the fridge

In a medical emergency, every minute counts. If rescue workers then have to spend a long time searching for vital information, it can become life-threatening. A small but extremely helpful emergency jar can provide relief. It contains all medically relevant information about the residents and fits into the door of any refrigerator.

More and more seniors want to continue living in their own homes as they age. But what happens if emergency services need to come, and no one is available to give detailed information about health, medications, pre-existing conditions, or allergies? Or if one is so stressed that important details are forgotten? Most people have a folder with all relevant documents. But where is it? It is rarely immediately accessible to emergency personnel. Additionally, the information is often not presented in a compact manner that allows rescue workers to quickly assess the health status.

In every household, there is a refrigerator, and it is usually located in the kitchen. Here, among mustard, butter, and jam, all medically relevant information will be found in the future—what allergies exist, which medications are regularly taken, what pre-existing conditions are present, and much more. If multiple people live in a household, the small container is large enough to hold all the information for everyone. A great help for paramedics and emergency services.

The analog emergency capsule also offers further advantages:

•   The information is not hidden behind a complicated password.

•   No empty battery prevents access.

•   No complicated operation or system failure makes access impossible.

Additionally, it is easy to "operate".

• Two stickers are included with the can. One should be placed on the inside of the house/apartment door, the other on the refrigerator.

•   Fill out an emergency information sheet for each person living in the household and provide it with a date and signature.

•   Updates k önnen can be made at any time, easily and quickly.

•   Paste a picture of the respective person onto the information sheet.

FamPLUS will distribute these emergency cans for free at events in the future.
